My professional speaking started when I was seven years old and for over 20 years I have also been coaching public speaking.

My college degree, certification and interest center around my career as a professional nurse and Bloodless Medicine and Surgery.

I have been the part of the care of over 600 patients refusing blood transfusions, most for non-religious reasons. I am proud to say, not one of those who have requested me as a nursing consultant, a patient advocate, or have I have been a part of the patient care management in bloodless care has died.

Most remarkably, the staff where I have worked have commented that these patients often get out of the hospital faster, healthier and at less expense than patients who receive blood transfusions.

Secondary interests include psychology and motivation. My interest in this field resulted from success experienced working with lapgastric bypass patients.

I am also an artist. Some of my art can be seen on this site. My paintings, sculptures, photography, prints, sand carved and etched glass has sold around the world. My prices range from $2.50 to one commission of over 50k. I continuously produce works of art on an annual basis.

Public Speaking Nurse is a brief overview of how I combined nursing and public speaking into one career.
