Your Weaknesses
#5 of the Top 10 Job Interview Questions

What Are Your Weaknesses?

You need not dread this question. Nobody is perfect. Everybody has weaknesses.

Remember, the job of your interviewer is to see if you have confidence, skills, and knowledge of the job. Show your confidence by being prepared for this question.

Keep your answers focused on your professional traits and not your personal life.

Prepare a few examples but only share one.

Having several answers, you will be better able to share the best one for your interviewer but least important to the position you desire. Make it a honest self assessment along with what you did to overcome it. If you are not working to overcome some weaknesses, get started.

Do not use answers that are canned or cliches like being a workaholic, I am a perfectionist or I work too hard.

An example someone might use is that they were not good at public speaking so they took some continuing education classes and now speak when ever there is a problem. Who knows, you might be able to pick up some extra public speaking for the new employer.
